Phoeninks is an independently operated informational project based in Indiana, United States. It is built to be useful without building profiles of its readers.

Information and analytics

Phoeninks does not currently offer accounts, comments, contact forms, newsletters, or onsite purchases. It does not sell visitor information or use advertising pixels, session replay, or cross-site behavioral tracking.

When analytics are active, Phoeninks uses only Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate matters such as page visits, referrers, countries, devices, and site performance. Phoeninks does not use those reports to identify individual readers.

Hosting and cookies

Cloudflare hosts, delivers, and protects the site. In doing so, Cloudflare may process ordinary technical request and security data needed to serve pages and defend the site. Phoeninks does not set cookies for analytics, advertising, personalization, accounts, or email capture. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security technologies when a request requires them.

Other websites

Links to booksellers, digital libraries, and source websites lead away from Phoeninks. Those services have their own privacy practices, which Phoeninks does not control.

Privacy questions may be sent to phoeninkspress [at] gmail [dot] com. This page will be updated before Phoeninks adds materially different data practices, such as email capture, accounts, commerce, advertising, or another analytics service.
